Give us a call today to set up your pet's appointment

Calling the Office
During office hours the phone will be answered by our receptionist. After hours and on weekends, an answering service will respond, which will give you the number to reach the Doctor in the event of an emergency. Please be patient as the phone may be busy at times. To prevent interruption for the Doctor while he is treating a patient in the office, telephone messages will be taken by our personnel and will be given to the Doctor. Your call will be returned as soon as possible. It is important for you to give us a telephone number where you can be reached if we need to call you back. All emergency messages will be given to the Doctor at once and you will be notified what to do. We will not treat serious illnesses over the phone.

Our office hours

8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Mon. - Thurs.
8:00 AM - 7:00 PM Fri.
8:00 AM - 12:00 noon Sat.

Appointments

We prefer to see you by appointment to keep waiting times short. We expect you to make every effort to make your appointment. If you cannot honor your appointment, please give us as much notice as possible so that one of our other patients can be scheduled. If your pet has an illness or experiences a sudden change in health, please call and the receptionist will give the earliest possible appointment. When calling for an appointment, please tell the receptionist the reason for the visit and the urgency of the problem. This allows us to give priority time to your pet's needs as well as to reserve sufficient time for your visit. Appointments can be made by calling during office hours.

Emergencies

Emergencies will always receive priority, regardless of the time of day. If you are waiting to be seen when a seriously ill pet comes in, we ask your indulgence for the delay, but we will insist on seeing the emergency patient first. If you have an urgent problem with your pet that will not wait until we are open, please call our office number and there will be a recorded message on how to receive emergency care.

Affordable quality pet care

We expect you to accept direct responsibility for payment of our fees. We have established this policy to keep down the administrative costs that result from billing and collections. This is one of the many efforts to keep the cost of our services reasonable and fair. At the time of each office visit, all charges are to be paid. To help make your pet's care affordable, we offer senior citizen discounts and accept most major credit cards and debit/ATM cards. Those who do not wish to use these choices may apply for Care Credit available at our hospital. Ask our receptionist to explain this unique option to you. We also work with pet insurance companies. If you have some financial difficulty, please let us know in advance so that a reasonable alternative can be worked out. Lack of money should not prevent your pet from receiving needed medical care.
